Intentional Communities in Israel Doing Social Change

Throughout the State of Israel, there are more than 300 intentional communities of various types. Most communities were founded to influence change in their living environment, with their mission focused on educational and social goals, including change that resulting from critical thinking about social power relations. The purpose of this panel is to present aspects of this activism of community members. The research on this subject is about to be published soon by Yad Tabenkin in a book edited by Dr. Orna Shemer and Dr. Nir Michaeli.
